Galapagos Islands

Natural History Cruise

Spaces available January 2007! Email Now for exact dates!

Join us for the trip of a lifetime! We will cruise for ten days in the "Enchanted Isles" looking for waved albatross, marine iguanas, flightless cormorants, Darwin's finches, Galapagos penguins and giant tortoises. These are just some of the many animals that are found no where else on the planet. Our trip will take us to 13 different islands and everyday we hike, snorkle, ride zodiacs and tour the unique habitats of the Galapagos. In the evenings we have optional lectures and discuss our daily sightings, the human story of the islands and of course, the historical impact of the theory of evolution. Every year more and more people visit Galapagos and now is the time to take advantage of this tour while the islands are still uncrowded and the wildlife remains remarkably tame.

Australia's Wildside

Spaces available July 2007! Email Now for exact dates!
The continent of Australia is roughly the size of North America but is home to less than 20 million people. Wilderness and wildlife is everywhere and the national park system is impressive. Our trip will begin in the temperate regions of New South Whales, travel to the arid deserts of the interior and end in the tropical Northern Territories. Along the way we will camp and stay in rustic accomodations as we hike, swim, drive and tour the outback. We will look for kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, goannas, crocodiles, fruit bats and kookaburras. This trip is not a packaged tour but a true exploratory as we discover the land and people of this wonderful place.
