Greg Meyer

Owner & Operator of Great Expeditions

Most tours are led by Greg Meyer and a team of skilled naturalists. Greg has a Masters degree in Environmental Studies with a research background in birds and marine mammals, and has been leading natural history trips since 1985. He has guided groups to destinations as diverse as the fjords of Alaska, the rain forests of Central America, the desert islands of Baja and the glaciers of Antarctica.

Kayak Instruction
Greg has been teaching sea kayaking since 1986. He is a nationally-certified American Canoe Association Sea Kayak Instructor-Trainer and a faculty member in the Outdoor Education and Recreation Department at California State University Monterey Bay.
